Throughout his career, Sam has developed a background in the design of both conventional and dewatered tailings facilities (thickened and filtered) at various stages of the project lifecycle. This includes trade off studies and scoping assessments through to permitting and detailed design.
Sam has experience with site-based duties, including participation and supervision of geotechnical investigation as well as management and interpretation of subsequent laboratory testing programmes. Sam has completed numerous regulatory audits and supports expert reviewers in due diligence and third-party reviews for mining companies, banks, and potential investors as well as internal review boards.
