Niall Tomlinson

Niall's experience spans projects ranging from reconnaissance through to bankable feasibility, though with a particular focus on early-stage exploration. Niall conducts evaluations and valuations of exploration properties from greenfield to brownfield and is CP/QP for technical reporting of early-stage exploration results. Niall specialises in data analytical methods to quantify exploration uncertainty, optimise exploration management and value exploration projects and portfolios.

Niall originally worked with SRK Exploration from 2006-2011, leaving to complete a MSc in Metals and Energy Finance at Imperial College London. He subsequently held senior roles at a number of mineral and energy juniors, and as an independent exploration analyst. Since 2022 he has led SRK Exploration’s Data Analytics team which specialises in the application of data science to tasks ranging from prospectivity studies through to optimal sampling procedures.
