Mitchell Clarke

He began his career as a mine surveyor before moving into drill and blast and production planning roles, building a practical foundation in field operations across underground and open-pit mines. Since joining SRK, his project work has focused on gold and bauxite, alongside iron ore, nickel and rare earth metals.

Mine planning is Mitchell's core specialisation, covering open-pit optimisation, mine design, strategic and life-of-mine scheduling, and cut-off grade optimisation from concept through to feasibility study.

This is complemented by his experience in block model interrogation, ore reserve estimation, dilution and ore loss analysis, selective mining unit (SMU) analysis, haulage modelling, and mine closure cost estimation.
