Joyjit has worked on exploration and mining projects across Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Africa, the United Kingdom, and Europe. He has applied his expertise in surface, open pit, and underground mapping, alongside core logging and the integration of drilling, geophysical, and geochemical datasets, to support exploration targeting, geological interpretation, and geotechnical operations.
His experience spans a range of commodities, including iron ore, copper, gold, zinc-lead, coal, and lithium, and is proficient in software including Leapfrog, Maptek Vulcan, WellCAD, Rocscience packages, acQuire, ArcGIS/QGIS.
Joyjit holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Leeds, supported by the Leeds International Doctoral Scholarship, as well as a Master of Research in Geology from Macquarie University and an MSc in Geology from IIT Kharagpur.
