Burak Gürhan

Burak has a Bachelor’s Degree in geological engineering and is extensively involved to regional/local scale groundwater flow and pit slope optimization studies, including 3D numerical modelling (especially in Finite Element Codes) of bench to pit scale depressurization models.

Burak specializes in the areas of groundwater flow, aquifer characterization including design and installation of monitoring well and, performing aquifer tests. He has performed numerous packer, airlift, pumping and slug tests.

His professional experience includes not only hydrogeological issues but also GIS and geological seismic modelling. He has worked in international projects concerning environmental and feasibility studies related to mine dewatering, water supply and other elements of mine hydrogeology.
