Ray Mayne

For the past 13 years, he has focused on closure-related work, helping numerous operations. He was project manager for a rehabilitation project from 2013 to 2020, and more recently, for order of magnitude and pre-feasibility closure studies between 2022 and 2024.

These projects involved developing closure strategies and designs, overseeing the implementation of rehabilitation measures, and managing large teams of client representatives, SRK personnel, sub-consultants, and contractors.

Since 2024 Ray has been involved in project management and coordination of mine closure plans internationally and within Western Australia. In this role, he has been the clients’ point of contact, providing project direction to meet timelines and scope. He has also provided support to due diligence reporting, particularly related to mine closure aspects.
