Anat Paz

Earlier in her career, Anat researched remediation solutions for contaminated land and developed bio-strategies to accelerate the rehabilitation of iron ore mines. As an environmental consultant, Anat has focused on coal and iron mine spoils and by-products (e.g. acid and metalliferous drainage (AMD) and fly ash) and their related environmental issues. 

Anat’s recent projects target sustainable mining by improving the geochemical characterisation and management of mine wastes. Her work often links directly to mine closure studies.
