Tom Sharp

He works to increase the value of water and reduce liabilities from its use in mining.  He has led and participated on teams preparing mine water and mine waste management plans, closure plans and studies, economic studies and due diligence investigations in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Central Asia.

Tom has prepared site water balances, water quality models, water conveyance and storage infrastructure designs and water management plans for mines and metallurgical facilities from project development through operations and closure.  He has also evaluated, designed, operated and prepared cost estimates of mine water treatment systems as well as evaluated management and disposal alternatives for water treatment wastes and other residual products.
