Bryce Marcotte

Bryce’s experience includes site assessment, foundation characterisation, and numerical modelling for tailings storage and heap leach facilities to support both active operations and safe closure designs. He has contributed to numerous projects across Canada and internationally, including multiple sites with complex clay foundations. His work bridges geomorphology and geotechnical behavior, reflecting his interest in understanding how material properties influence engineering performance.

Bryce graduated as a Civil-Environmental Engineer (2016) with a later focus on Civil-Geotechnical work during his PhD (2021). He currently is an adjunct professor with the University of Saskatchewan where he is involved with research involving geosynthetics, insitu characterisation of soils, and advanced laboratory testing.
