Fermín has been actively involved in large-scale engineering projects, such as the design of the Potasio Río Colorado Mine terminal and the Pascua Lama binational project. Additionally, he contributed to specific activities related to the expansion of Line H of the Buenos Aires subway, focusing on soil-structure interaction analysis, construction procedures, and concrete technology.
He was part of the team responsible for developing the conceptual engineering and cost analysis for the closures of the Lama Project and the Veladero Mine.
Furthermore, Fermín has led and participated in teams dedicated to the design and quality assurance of tailings dams, embankment raises, and reinforcement works in countries such as Argentina, Mexico, India, and Saudi Arabia, among others.
