He currently serves as a Principal Consultant at SRK Consulting, where he applies his expertise in atmospheric dispersion modelling and environmental monitoring to support a wide range of industrial and infrastructure projects. His technical skills include the use of advanced modelling platforms such as ADMS, AERMOD, and CALPUFF, which are essential for predicting the dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere. He also integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) into his assessments, enhancing the spatial accuracy and visualization of environmental data. Dr. Tularam is well-versed in regulatory compliance, regularly compiling Atmospheric Emission License (AEL) applications through the South African Atmospheric Emission Licensing Portal (SAAELIP) and submitting data to the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory System (NAEIS). He also develops air quality management plans tailored to the specific needs of industries and municipalities. He has also undertaken a range of ambient noise monitoring and modelling assessments with the use of CadnaA and SoundPLAN software programs. Greenhouse gas emission quantification, calculating industry carbon footprint and assessing their contribution towards climate change has also become a key area of interest in his career.
