She specializes in environmental compliance, land use planning, mine closure cost estimating, and permitting strategy, with a strong understanding of complex regulatory frameworks.

Emily's regulatory experience includes federal and state regulations such as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, and the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA). 

Before joining SRK, Emily led permitting for a major lead-zinc deposit in Northwest Alaska, overseeing all federal, state, and local regulatory actions. She has also supported permitting for operating mines, exploration programs, transportation projects, and land exchanges, helping clients navigate complex regulations efficiently while maintaining environmental compliance.
