Teresa Steele-Schober

Teresa is an environmental, social and governance (ESG) practitioner with over 20 years’ experience of integrating ESG considerations into mining developments, technical studies and reports in line with international mineral reporting codes.

Initially working as a geologist for an international mining company, Teresa moved into the environmental field, gaining experience and further qualifications in environmental science, law and policy. She applies her expertise to the assessment, integration, management and review of ESG considerations across all phases of the mining lifecycle. Teresa draws on her experience and education to evaluate the interconnections between the range of disciplines involved in mining developments to identify areas of synergy, threat and opportunity.

Teresa’s broad experience includes management of environmental issues at mine site, business unit and company group level. She has implemented environmental management systems, managed legal compliance and permitting obligations and processes, and completed ESG components of feasibility studies, mineral reports and due diligence reviews.
