Shannon works with clients across the full project life cycle from initial concept development through operations to closure and remediation. She combines her technical expertise and project management skills to support clients with early-stage designs, regulatory compliance, permitting, short-term and long-term water management planning, and water treatment evaluation and design.
Shannon’s technical expertise includes water quality characterization (surface water, groundwater, dewatering mine water, tailings process water, treated effluent water), site-wide water and load balance modelling (Excel and GoldSim), mine water management planning (operations and closure), and water treatment evaluation, design and costing. Her field work experience includes water sampling, conducting pilot-scale bucket tests for water treatment, and leading a drill hole water sampling program in an active open pit mine.
