Paul-Johan Aucamp

Paul has been responsible for the fieldwork and project management of many engineering geological and contaminated land projects relating to geotechnical site characterisation, contaminated site management as well as remedial assessment. His specialisation includes geotechnical investigations for harbours and jetties, mine processing plant, shaft collars and box cuts, mine tailings storage facilities, rock dumps and waste water/return water dams, mine haul roads as well as contaminated land and groundwater investigations at large industrial petrochemical facilities (CHC-DNAPL, BTEX etc.). 


His projects include contaminated site investigation for NAPL sites, harbours, jetties, quays, mine plant civil geotechnical assessment, geotechnical assessment of mine shafts and box cuts, mine tailings storage facilities and rock dump footprint geotechnics, large Industrial petrochemical facilities, mine haul roads. Paul has in the last nine years held senior positions within his previous (Technical Director at ERM Southern Africa) and present employer.
