Imanol has 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and numerical modelling for the mining sector, with projects spanning South America, North America, Africa, and Asia.

He focuses on unsaturated flow, seepage, deformation, and liquefaction analyses using HYDRUS-1D, PLAXIS, and Python, and participates in multidisciplinary mine closure workshops.

He has also contributed to major infrastructure projects, providing structural and geotechnical design for hydroelectric dams, underground works, tunnels, bridges and port facilities.
