Adilbek possesses a Bachelor of Mining Engineering degree from the Camborne School of Mines, UK and a Master of Science in Metallurgical and Mineral Processing Engineering from the Montana Technological University, MT, USA.
Adilbek has practical experience in working as a mining engineer at an underground iron ore mine in Kazakhstan and as a plant metallurgist at a gold processing plant and refinery in Alaska, USA as part of the internship programmes. During his academic time in Montana Technological University Adilbek was employed as a graduate research assistant and worked on plastics separation project gaining experience in froth flotation and gravity separation.
Since joining SRK in 2021, Adilbek worked on and managed a number of Scoping, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies for iron, gold, lithium, copper, tungsten and limestone projects in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. Adilbek has experience in metallurgical accounting, geometallurgical modelling, plant operations, processing and infrastructure cost estimations, flowsheet development, operational audits and is an experienced user of Cancha and AggFlow.
