Gert Heuser

Gert has investigated the origin of various mineral deposits in the Coastal Range of northern Chile through field mapping and laboratory analysis, considering variable stress and thermodynamic conditions during fluid circulation, including multiple deformation episodes.

He has extensive experience in the structural, geological, and geotechnical characterization of rock masses, 3D fault modeling, structural analysis, and slope stability assessment.

Thanks to his expertise in structural geology, in recent years he has worked as a geotechnical geologist at the Gabriela Mistral and Antucoya deposits, actively contributing to the updating of structural models. Additionally, he has solid experience in laboratory work.
