Melanie specialises in geochemical characterisation studies of various mine wastes plus mine waters and has experience of waste classification assessments. She has worked on a number of Canadian projects, undertaking annual reporting and assisting with Metal Leaching and Acid Rock Drainage (ML/ARD) management plan updates to ensure compliance with permit regulations. Melanie has also provided input into numerous ML/ARD assessments throughout Europe, North America and Africa. She is competent in quality assurance/quality control (QAQC) reviews, data interpretation and reporting. She has worked on a number of large multi-disciplinary studies and her experience covers a range of project stages from initial scoping studies through to mine closure. She is an experienced pXRF operator and is familiar with HazWaste Online, Aquachem and Leapfrog® Geo software.
