He specializes in cave mine design and optimization, strategic planning and scheduling, and is an expert user of PCBC. In operations, Josh has led large technical teams, supporting all aspects of underground mining and serving as the primary bridge between technical and operational groups. He has managed technical projects through the entire life cycle, including block caves from early scoping studies through to cave execution and ultimately closure.
Additionally, Josh brings expertise in caving-specific risk management, including the areas of cave initiation and propagation, mudrush, inrush, airblast, and subsidence.
