Adrian Lechel

Adrian's strengths lie in borehole planning and rig supervision for all types of wells, including shallow groundwater measuring points drilled by auger, mineral exploration holes drilled by reverse circulation or diamond drilling, and deep geothermal energy projects drilled up to 4,000 m with directional drilling.

He has conducted geophysical surveys (radar, seismic, electrical and magnetic) and hydraulic tests (pumping, packer and slug) for groundwater exploration and tunnel construction, resulting in successful project outcomes for railway companies and energy suppliers. He has prepared several reports for drinking water suppliers, delineating protection zones and determining the maximum yield.

Mineral exploration in the Pilbara sharpened his understanding of lithium deposits in pegmatites and base metals in ultramafic intrusions.

Adrian has a scientific background in sedimentary basins and geostatistical interpolation (Kriging and Gaussian simulation). He is fluent in four languages (English, German, Spanish and French) and proficient in software applications such as ArcGIS. He has extensive fieldwork experience and multicultural experience in West Africa, South America, Europe and Australia.
