Matías’s career includes the design of geotechnical projects, encompassing containment structures such as water retention dams and tailings dams, shallow and deep foundations, embankments, excavations, and various other geotechnical structures.
He has been involved in the execution, interpretation, and technical supervision of in situ soil testing. Additionally, he holds a PhD with a thesis focused on the development of a micropile control methodology based on dynamic load testing.
Throughout his career, Matías has worked on projects related to waste containment structures in countries such as Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Canada, Chile, India, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Peru, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
