Edward Escudero

He has directed and executed several mining and civil projects related to the supervision and construction of civil engineering works including: construction of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, sludge ponds, reinforced soil systems, installation of geosynthetics, subdrainage works, channels and intakes, tunnels, concrete dams, gabion structure, terramesh system, road construction and maintenance, concrete pavements, slope stability, earth moving in general, building construction, among others.

Regarding civil and geotechnical engineering consulting and design, he has participated in several multi-disciplinary projects of civil and mining infrastructure, focusing on the following topics: field geotechnical investigations, geotechnical characterization of materials, design of tailings dams and waste rock dumps, closure of mining components, road design, design of soil containment systems, geosynthetic design, slope stability design, geotechnical monitoring, and cost estimation.
