He has worked across a range of capacities – engineer, project manager, consultant, and corporate development professional – advising on mining and infrastructure investment decisions exceeding A$1 billion in value.
Alvin brings extensive technical and corporate development expertise covering the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies through to capex and construction management and operational improvement. He has supported corporate transactions and capital allocation decisions through investment evaluation, valuations, and due diligence, advising mining companies, investors, and financiers across the investment lifecycle.
He also has experience in post-merger integration and corporate transformation, helping organisations navigate the strategic and operational challenges arising from mergers, acquisitions, and major corporate restructuring.
He has led multidisciplinary teams across a broad commodity base – including gold, copper, nickel, lithium, rare earths, bauxite, and iron ore – with project exposure spanning Australia, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
