Erik specializes in the economic evaluation and modeling of mining projects, including cash flow analysis, capital and operating cost estimation, financial forecasting, economic trade-off studies, and risk assessment. His work supports technical studies across the project lifecycle, from early exploration and scoping through feasibility, and operations, across a range of commodities.
He also has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, including field investigations, data analysis, and integration of geotechnical inputs into mine planning and economic assessments. His project experience includes operational support at large open pit mines, pit slope failure investigations, open pit mine design, and slope stability modeling, across Canada, the United States, South America, Africa, and the Arctic.
