Mike specialises in structural geology, mineral resource estimation, geological mapping, 3D modelling of mineral systems, and structural interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data. He has worked across government and private sectors, including over 18 years as a consultant in Australia and Indonesia.
Mike has managed projects and led multidisciplinary teams across precious and base metals, bulk commodities, and industrial minerals in Australia, Southeast Asia, West and Central Africa, South America, and western United States of America. He is also experienced in conducting technical valuations under the VALMIN Code, as well as due diligence and independent technical reviews of mineral resource estimates.
In addition to his consulting work, Mike has contributed to AusIMM training courses and technical publications, sharing his expertise in structural geology, resource estimation, and reporting standards.
