Manuel's technical expertise includes underground mine optimization, scheduling, cost estimation, technical-economic evaluation, comminution circuits optimization and continuous improvement using Lean Management tools. He has experience in various software packages including JK SimMet, Deswik and AutoCAD.
Manuel’s professional career includes operational experience gained in different cooper projects, namely the Chuquicamata Underground Project (PMCHS) as the Planning Leading Engineer, in charge of the main developments and El Teniente Mine, in the New Mining Level project as Shift Boss. During his career, he has worked in various base and precious metals, lithium and fertiliser minerals projects located throughout Europe, Asia and South America, working on Competent Persons Report, Due diligence report, Technical Studies and Ore Reserve Studies.
