The event is organized by the Large Open Pit Project (LOP), an international research initiative launched in 2005 and supported by the mining industry, aimed at advancing knowledge on slope stability in open-pit mines. It is also supported by the Peruvian Society of Geoengineering and the Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru (IIMP).
SRK is proud to participate in this event, with Antonio Samaniego, Corporate Consultant (Mining) from SRK Peru, serving as the President of the Scientific Committee and a keynote speaker on mining geotechnics.
We will soon share the program and technical presentations to be delivered by consultants from various SRK offices, providing key insights into geotechnics and mining.
