PA Technical Services Ltd, is the developer of the Nkusi Lower Hydropower Plant with a capacity of 9.6 MW, located on the Nkusi River along the border of Kibaale and Hoima district in Western Uganda. The river starts from the hills, west of the town of Kakumiro, in Kibaale District, and flows in a north western direction towards a swamp near the village of Kitoma. It then emerges from this swamp and flows westwards towards Hoima district to empty into Lake Albert.
Nkusi hydro power project comprises of four main components namely; the weir or dam, the penstock which will be located in the tunnel, the power house, and a tail race.
