SRK North America is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Smith as Principal Consultant (Corporate Advisory) and Chief Operating Officer and Matthew Hastings as Principal Consultant. Stuart will be based in Vancouver, BC, and Matt in Denver, CO. These strategic appointments reinforce SRK’s commitment to enhancing its corporate advisory services and delivering applied solutions to its clients.
Stuart and Matt bring extensive experience working at the intersection of mining, strategy, and operations that augments SRK’s capabilities in advising clients on internal strategic initiatives, collaborating with financial institutions and mining industry investors to support merger and acquisitions, debt financing, and offtake activities.
Stuart returns to SRK after a successful tenure leading the Americas division of an international advisory and consulting business. His focus on corporate advisory services will continue, complementing his new role as Chief Operating Officer for North America.
Matt rejoins SRK after holding a senior corporate role within a leading, vertically integrated specialty chemicals and mining company that specializes in production of critical minerals, including battery metals. His expertise in resource project development and ability to synthesize the work of industry-leading specialists for corporate strategy guidance provides SRK with additional competence in delivery of innovative and transformative solutions to SRK’s clients.
