SRK Australia congratulates Claire Linklater, Jeames McKibben and Rodney Brown on their appointments as Corporate Consultants, and Ludovic Rollin and Stephen Johnson on their promotions to Principal Consultant. These appointments reflect SRK’s culture of mentorship, rigorous technical standards and practical, results-focused advice for clients.

Corporate Consultants at SRK are recognised as established experts whose guidance is sought globally and who are capable of addressing complex technical queries for clients and across the SRK group.

Claire Linklater brings more than 30 years of experience helping mines plan responsible closure and manage waste materials, forecasting long-term water quality and potential impacts from waste rock, tailings and pit lakes. She has led cross-disciplinary closure studies for MMG, BHP and Rio Tinto, drawing on earlier work in radioactive waste management to inform her approach to environmental risk.

At this stage in my career, I’m focusing on knowledge sharing and technical mentoring. I’d like to help foster interest and develop talent in the use of geochemical modelling tools to assist with forecasting water quality to enable proactive, defensible water quality risk management," said Claire.

Jeames McKibben specialises in the assessment and valuation of mining projects so companies, boards and investors can make confident decisions on deals and financing. With more than 30 years of experience, he has led teams reviewing projects worldwide and prepared independent reports that support major transactions and listings across commodities including gold, copper, coal and lithium. Jeames has also provided expert advice in legal disputes.

Given SRK’s history at the forefront of industry and excellence in mineral consulting, I am truly honoured to be recognised as a Corporate Consultant in Project Evaluation. I see it as a role that enables me to support others who embrace new challenges and continuous learning as a pathway to technical success," noted Jeames.

He also serves as Chairperson of VALMIN, a joint body with participation from ASIC, ASX, the Minerals Council of Australia, PESA, the Securities Association of Australia and representatives from the finance sector.

Rodney Brown helps mining companies quantify Mineral Resources, evaluate project value and plan optimal development pathways. With more than 35 years of experience across consulting and on-site operations worldwide, he blends practical field experience with modern data tools and a background in steel metallurgy to support clear, confident decisions across a wide range of commodities.

I aim to keep myself and the company at the forefront of rapid advances in Mineral Resource evaluation, particularly the growing focus on geometallurgy, the expanding array of data analysis and modelling tools, and advances in machine learning applications,” said Rodney.

SRK also congratulates Ludovic Rollin, now Principal Consultant in ESG, with 14 years of experience driving health, safety, environmental and regulatory excellence across mining, oil and gas and energy projects in Africa, Europe, Oceania and Central and Southeast Asia. Stephen Johnson has also been promoted to Principal Consultant in Geology, bringing more than 12 years of experience in mineral exploration and ore deposit geology across porphyry, iron oxide copper-gold and iron ore systems, with global experience in South America, Southeast Asia and Australia and advanced 3D skills using Vulcan, Leapfrog, Micromine, MapInfo, QGIS, ioGAS and TSG.

Carl Murray, Managing Director for Australasia, stated:

It is always good to be able to recognise the expertise within your company. Having great promotions like this in a short space of time reflects very positively on the capability of the company, the hard work of the individuals and our depth of expertise."
