The Tailings Center is an industry-focused coalition of the Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University and the University of Arizona. In mid-2021, the coalition launched a Tailings Certificate Training program. SRK is one of several consulting firms to prepare and deliver course content. For the inaugural launch of the program, SRK practitioners helped develop the Course 4: TSF Water Management and delivered individual lectures under Course 6: TSF Closure and Reclamation. This presentation covers the various aspects of TSF decommissioning, closure, and reclamation.
