Cerro Lindo Conveyors 3, 4 and 5

In 2019, Nexa Resources contracted SRK Peru to conduct an environmental impact assesssment of the conveyor belt system used to transport minerals to the concentration plant. The assessment identified three conceptual alternatives: 1) modification of the conveyor belt dimensions, 2) placement of retention flanges on the sides, and 3) collection of material through aprons beneath the belts. The first two alternatives were recommended to proceed to the next engineering stages.
