Fluorite Deposit Definitive Feasibility Study

Fluorite Feasibility Study

In 2025, the Tivan Speewah Project continues with a comprehensive suite of technical programs managed by SRK Consulting, advancing the project closer to development. SRK has initiated a groundwater investigation using two drilling rigs on 30 bores. Targeted pumping tests are being conducted to obtain key aquifer data, supporting the development of a groundwater model later in the year.

Waste rock management planning is being conducted collaboratively by SRK specialists from geology, mining, tailings and hydrogeology, all supported by a third-party ecology team. The location for the waste rock dump has been selected to minimise disruption, and preliminary designs are complete. Geochemical assessments are ongoing to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.

SRK Consulting is supporting Speewah’s third-party infrastructure contractors by performing hydraulic modelling to inform the design of culverts for the new access road, to ensure year-round site access.

The design of the tailings storage facility has also progressed, with the site location confirmed and embankment design underway. SRK's tailings engineers are assisting in refining tailings processing methods and conducting laboratory trials, dam break studies, and geochemical assessments, intending to complete a full facility design by the end of the year.

SRK's geotechnical and geology teams are logging diamond cores from the planned pit area and conducting trial pitting at the tailings storage site to inform mine planning. Metallurgical sampling plans are also under review, targeting new diamond holes to improve process testwork.

Mining studies are ongoing to assess various development options and advance the mine design in preparation for the feasibility study scheduled for late 2025.

In parallel, our ESG team has joined the project and will be completing a gap analysis of the current social surroundings studies, with the aim of strengthening the project’s social performance and aligning with best practice standards.
