A thorough mine closure and reclamation plan is a complicated and often overlooked aspect in the design life of a site. This session will highlight technical presentations and case studies on the closure and remediation process from shutdown to post-closure monitoring by mining professionals and engineers.
This talk will provide an overview of how to use precipitation data to influence the design and engineering of Heap Leach Pads in certain environments with a particular focus on best practices for closure and water management.
