Spacescapes: Postcards From Our Solar System

A stunning visual exhibition of the landscapes of our solar system, including images of the Perseverance rover on Mars, impact craters on the Moon, mountains on Pluto and geysers on Enceladus. Explore the ways in which understanding the Earth can help us uncover the history of planetary bodies across our solar system and beyond.

Spacescaps: Postcards from our solar system lets visitors experience a journey through our solar systems, looking at the landscapes and features on earth that have taught us everything we know about environments and landforms on other planets. Just like a space scientist, people can seek out the clues hidden in the natural world to discover the secrets and history of the planets and moons in our solar system.

The exhibition will be moving from the Geological Society in London to its new home at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxford this April. It will be on display at the corner of Eighth Street and Rutherford Avenue roundabout, with the intention to have it in situ for at least the next 1-2 years
