This course ties basic sample theory to the practical application of quality control in the field and to interpretation and reporting of drilling results. The course includes an overview of sample theory, the key principals of quality control in exploration and mining, and the statistical tools required for effective analysis of results.

  • How to determine if your data is representative and fit-for-purpose
  • How to design, implement and interpret appropriate QC programs
  • How to identify failure and respond effectively
  • Concise reporting of QC results and compliance to reporting codes
