Abstract:
This presentation explores the integration of geology and geostatistics from the early stages of the Sunday Creek Project, with a particular focus on the importance of accurately modelling high-grade zones. By leveraging geological understanding, particularly variations in mineralisation style, we can improve domain definition, reduce variability and enhance variogram stability. Geostatistics can, in turn, be leveraged to provide insight into the effectiveness of domaining, grade continuity and areas where additional data is required. Early and geologically driven high-grade modelling can therefore directly influence geologic confidence, drilling strategies and broader project decision-making.
