Our consulting practice was established to meet the changing requirements of our clients and expected market growth in Zambia and throughout Africa. Our primary focus is projects in the mining sector, and we also work in the energy, water, infrastructure and commercial sectors, as well as with parastatals in all tiers of government. Within energy, we support renewable power and wider power‑infrastructure projects, including solar, wind, hydropower, storage, and transmission. Our clients include major, mid‑tier, and junior mining companies; public‑sector organisations; financial institutions such as commercial banks, development finance institutions, and investment funds; and engineering companies. We provide independent technical and ESG advice on the projects that financial institutions support. We can support planning and development of regional logistics corridors.

Major services

Our services cover exploration, mining due‑diligence and engineering studies, compilation of competent/qualified persons reports, tailings and mine‑waste engineering, surface water and groundwater studies, environmental and social impact assessments, mining geotechnics and engineering geology, mining‑related civil and structural engineering, and energy and municipal engineering. In addition, we provide lender‑grade technical and ESG services to financial institutions, including independent technical reports, project evaluations and risk assessments, environmental and social due‑diligence and ESMS support, and roles as Lenders’ Technical Adviser or Independent Engineer.
