Erwann Lebrun

Erwann is a Senior Structural Geologist with over 10 years of international experience. He has worked for the mining industry, in academia and with geological surveys on four of the six continents in a wide variety of structurally complex terranes, ranging from Archean to Paleogene in age. Erwann’s experience includes 6 years working for the Centre for Exploration Targeting in Australia. He also has extensive experience with structurally controlled deposits and mineral exploration projects related to hydrothermal activity in West Africa.

Erwann uses a multidisciplinary-multiscale approach to build structural and lithological models in 4D (3D + time) from field observations to highlight controls on mineralization, support exploration targeting, resource estimation and address geotechnical challenges.

Erwann has delivered professional courses in Geology and Applied Structural Geology, both in the field for clients, and at university.  Erwann is fluent in both English and French (and is learning Spanish).

Erwann is the creator of the AlphaBeta Converter geological phone application.
