1.1. We make this statement in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and it is made in respect of the financial year 31st December 2025 and is applicable to the financial year 2026.
1.2. This statement applies to all four companies in our group: SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd, SRK Consulting (Kazakhstan) Ltd, SRK Consulting (Finland) OY, and SRK Consulting (Sweden) AB. When we refer to the company or the group, we mean all of these companies individually and collectively. No other entity is included in this definition of company or group within this statement.
1.3. All employees of the company and those working on behalf of the company including sub-consultants, associates and consultants from the wider SRK Consulting global community (SRK personnel) are obliged to conduct business in a manner that upholds the reputation of the company.
2.1. The parent company of the group, SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd, is a private limited company registered in England and Wales with the registration number 01575403. It is the sole shareholder of all other entities listed in s.1.2.
2.2. The company secretary has ultimate responsibility for this statement and supporting initiatives and procedures.
2.3. The company employs over 200 professionals who are contracted directly to one of the entities within the group. Our employee base also frequently includes those who are seconded from entities within the wider SRK Consulting global community.
2.4. From time to time, the company may rely on the expertise and experience of a well-established network of professionals from entities within the wider SRK Consulting global community, sub-consultants and associates. These are independent workers who act on our behalf and their engagements are underpinned by specific agreements.
2.5. Fair treatment of our people is ensured through our relevant policies which are accessible to all employees easily through our internal intranet and Human Resources software.
2.6. We have taken steps to deliver our policies in both English and Russian to reflect the most spoken languages within the group. This is an ongoing commitment, and we aim for all our policies to be bi-lingual by the end of 2026. We have considered the provision of policies in other commonly spoken languages within the group but currently determine that providing our policies in English and Russian is proportionate and reflective of the most spoken languages at this time. We are committed to inclusion and will keep this position under review.
3.1. The company acknowledges the tangible impact slavery, forced labour, servitude and human trafficking has on victims of exploitation including the loss of autonomy, liberty, and financial independence.
3.2. We are committed to conducting business in a fair, ethical and respectful manner that supports our efforts in upholding fundamental human rights.
3.3. The prevention of modern slavery is of utmost importance to the company, and we are committed to preventing modern slavery in our business operations and wider supply chain.
3.4. Our commitment is reinforced by a zero-tolerance approach to any forms of modern slavery within our supply chain.
4.1. We are diligent in undertaking appropriate checks on employees, agencies, professionals, sub-consultants and associates who undertake work on our behalf.
4.2. Every engagement with the company is underpinned by a written contract, and we ensure those working on our behalf are paid appropriately for their work.
4.3. Employment agreements include confirmation of working hours, agreed breaks, annual leave entitlement and details of remuneration.
