Oliver Willetts

Oliver possesses expertise in resource estimation across various mineral deposit styles, geological modelling, database design, management, and exploration. With project experience spanning greenfields exploration, through feasibility, and into production, Oliver delivers technical solutions to complex problems over the full project life cycle, including resource evaluation, due diligence and acting as an expert witness with court experience.

Oliver has a deep understanding of roll-front style uranium mineralisation and of the geological modelling and Mineral Resource estimation of such deposits, and actively combines technologies from oil and gas reservoir estimation into the evaluation of mineral reservoir deposits.

Oliver qualifies as a JORC Code Competent Person for reporting of sedimentary uranium, sedimentary phosphate, orogenic gold and shear-hosted copper Mineral Resources. Oliver also has experience of commodities including cobalt, nickel, vanadium, lithium brines, mineral sands and bauxite.

As an expert computational geoscientist, Oliver maintains a software toolkit comprising mining software (Micromine, tNavigator, Leapfrog, Leapfrog Edge), statistical analysis and geostatistics (Isatis Neo, RMSP, Python), database administration (Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database), GIS (QGIS) and software development (Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET). He readily combines technical skills and geological knowledge to produce innovative and effective workflows.
