Senior Environmental Scientist - Saskatoon, SK

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist for our Saskatoon office. The successful candidate will have:

• Degree in environmental science, geology or engineering; or a related natural science degree
• 6+ years of experience in environmental protection or management, preferably in a mining setting
• Operational experience or a consulting background would be considered an asset
• Experience with environmental assessments, permitting, implementation of governmental environmental policy in one or more Canadian jurisdiction from either a regulatory or industry perspective
• Experience with the preparation of environmental impact statements

The successful candidate will consult on projects for North American and International clients; requiring travel to varying environments. Assignments will include, but not be limited to preparation and guidance for the development of environmental assessments and environmental impact statements, and/or participation in environmental due diligence reviews.

As a consultant, the successful candidate will be expected to create and maintain client relationships and work in a team environment. Strong communication skills and interpersonal capabilities are essential.
