Hydrologist-Surface Water Engineer

We are seeking hydrologist / surface water engineer to work on various Turkish and overseas projects from our Ankara office. The successful candidates will have:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Good written and oral English and Turkish skills
- Efficient use of MS Office
- Report and proposal writing skills
- for domestic and international field work
- Mandatory military service must be completed for male candidates, and
- Valid driver’s license.
Hydrologist position’s key requirements (Code: 11-11-WRS-01):
- BS or MS Degree in Civil, Environmental, Geological or Hydrogeological Engineering
- Proficient in use of technical hydrological software such as HEC-RAS, etc

Experience in:
- environmental baseline assessments and water specialist report for environmental components;
- determination of certified flood lines for proposed and existing developments;
- mine water management; strategic water evaluation, storm water control and water resources,
- hydraulic studies to develop remedial measures to minimise the impact on floods on new developments;
- analysis and development of river diversions;
- estimations of floods and routing through dams;
- dam break analysis and modelling for dam safety inspections and new proposed dams;
- long term water yield analysis for water supply dams; and
- flood attenuation in dams and flood hydrology reservoir yield analysis.
