Senior - Principal Resource Estimation Geologist – Belo Horizonte, Brazil
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Resource Estimation Geologist for our office in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 10 years of applied resource estimation experience, preferably with strong industry experience
- Strong geostatistical skills and proficiency with resource estimation tools
- Experience with a variety of minerals
- Qualified Person in 1 or more countries outside of Brazil
- Prior consulting experience would be an asset
- Strong written and spoken English is essential
The successful candidate will provide leadership and coaching to a team of geology consultants as well as consulting on projects for Brazilian and International clients. Assignments will include resource estimation, technical reporting and due diligence project reviews.
As a consultant, the successful candidate will be expected to create and maintain client relationships and work in a team environment. Strong communication skills and interpersonal capabilities are essential.
